Because chemicals is what everything is made out of.

If you want something "safe", build it out of wood, or even better, carve it out of a solid log, then stretch some fabric over it. That'll be safe. And strong.

But then you'll be suing the manufacturer for making it too heavy and you pulling your back.

  • bromine destroys the lungs and that is nearly unreversable

  • It's all about the poisoning of the masses and making money. Big business and Government.

  • These toxins are necessary -- they prevent children from being burned alive.... There are higher concentrations of the same toxins in your couch, bed, carpet, etc. Except those items can't save your child's life.

  • aww crap i work at a baby store its going to suck... funny thing is all the car seats they tested are 2007 or older models what about the new seats?

  • Man, thats wierd...a car seat is supposed to keep kids safe...not hurt them..so y do they make them with chemicals.

  • I am so glad I could never afford a new car so my daughter was not exposed to the same toxins in new cars.....
