When he says all your needs will be taken care of he is not speaking as a preacher he is speaking as a self help guru. The fact is that God does in fact provide for our needs but he does it on HIS time and in the way HE sees fit. God knows our needs better than we do and sometimes he will make us suffer or go without but he does so out of LOVE.

no, He isn't. His love has killed, maimed and burned millions. death is the only salvation and it is all He offers us because it is all we deserve as the whelps we live as today, worshiping the dollar as we do, pitiful, may His wrath come swift, though we do not deserve it. we all deserve to be put on the cross so we may understand his pain instead of preaching like helpless roaches.

I still miss Bishop Patterson on Sunday Morning, watching him on tv. That was the start of my Sunday worship almost, then service.

I have always enjoyed hearing Bishop preach. Even in death, the light he shed on the things of God still burn brightly. I learned to see many things more clearly by listening to him break down the Word.
