FF8 Omega Weapon (Lvl 7) defeated by 1 attack

This video was made with the German PC-Version of FF8. Cause its PC-Version Omegas level is depending on the parties level, not like on PSX with always Level 100. In this video Omega is on level 7 what means it has just 171945 HP.
One Lion Heart (Herzensbrecher) and Omega is defeated! Sorry for problems with sound :( Enjoy :)

You can either run away, petrify, turn to cards enimies. All these versions wont give you exp. There are just about 5 opponents in the game where its not possible. in that cases you have to kill you comrades and use a gf to get as few as poysible exp.

It may sound as a stupid question, but I'd really like to know. Is this boss difficult? I mean, REALLY difficult? I'm asking this because I'm playing FFVIII for the first time. (I'm at Disc 3 though xD)

Yes, this Boss is really hard. You wont find a harder in FF8. If you play the game first time, I will bet you wont survive for a long time (maybe just if you use Hero-Drinks you can survive longer).

That it looks that easy in the video is because I made a No-Level-Game. That means I tried my best not to get just one Level by using the GF-Ability "Card" or magic stone. I then junctioned strong magic on that characters and received fighters which look like Level 100.

As Omega is on same Level like characters on PC-Edition it just is Level 7 with about 200.000 HP. That is easily made with Zell or Squalls Lionheart.

If you fight on higher levels you surely will see a cruel combination of attacks, which you should KNOW. Especially you should know how to avoid terrabreak (you can use the GF-Ability Defense so you have 2 charas alive after terrabreak).

this is NOT cheated!

1. Herzensbrecher = Lion Heart

2. you can stay low level by simply killing no normal units, bosses give no EXP. and remember, that enemies STAY weak when you don't level up!

3. because it is the PC version, omega weapon's level is ~ the average team level, not 100.

4. ja es gibt auch ultima weapon. man findet es auf der forschungsinsel ganz im südwesten der karte, nachdem man bahamut bekämpft und sich kurz in die ragnarok zurückgezogen hat.

@Aradneil you can petrify all the enemies in forced fights, except the once in the missle base in the room where you activate the bomb ;)

It looks cheated. Even if you use card and/or devour command at least one of your characters must level up a few times because the the non-boss enemies, which are immune to card and devour command.

But as you can see, in this vid every charachter at the starting level.

imo Ultima Weapon was harder, because I fought it first and wasn't prepared for how fast paced the fight was, when I challenged Omega Weapon, I had everything planned out and it was actually a smoother fight.

but, my best time just 11 minutes.
