evidence and perception are not the same thing. the fact that you use that as your justification, and also are an opponent of post-modernism is XD XD XD awesome.

That's not to say there isn't a soul. But the idea of heaven and hell with god responsible is both appalling and unreasonable. I'm sorry but I've experienced this. I also have two friends, brothers, who died for minutes each. There isn't a heaven or a hell. There is a place with unimaginable potential, that cannot be pegged by a black/white view of heaven and hell. You can make it hell, you can let it be heaven. And that's the best way to put it as words don't do the trick.

Actually science CAN get to "it all" in these cases. It's called a DMT trip. Your brain releases a massive amount of the stuff in near death circumstance, and also to a lesser degree in sleep.
There has been extensive research by a few people in this area, and the evidence strongly suggests that DMT is largely responsible for alien abductions, out of body experiences, heaven and hell experiences, etc.

@RDD756 You are correct. The whole subject lies at the very edge of our perception, and science can't get to it at all. Still, there are so many many anecdotal accounts occurring just at the moment of death, in addition to a few very detailed accounts from near death experiences. The biblical account matches these descriptions. I even have a friend whose cousin's father-in-law asked for his relatives to put out a fire "in his hospital room" that he saw the very moment he died! Could it be hell?

@HypaSonicDeathMonkey How do you explain someone who is unconscious on a hospital bed, but can recount a conversation that occurred at the same time in another part of the building? Your naturalism does not hold up.
God doesn't seem that holy, when he banishes people into eternal hell fire just for not believing in him. You could be the kindest person in the world, and get sent to hell just for not believing in a god? That seems just about batshit crazy to me.

@Ejet1223 Sounds crazy to me too. That's not why he does it. He does it because he rightly evaluates us as evil - and also WANTING TO REMAIN EVIL. "Believing in him" is tied up with change. If we want to change, if we see what we are and don't like it, he will rescue us. Most folks tell him to buzz off, not because they want a hell, but because they like to run their own lives, and that means "evil" unfortunately. All of us. Who hasn't lied, stolen, lusted, hurt someone at least once?

this is bullshit... you cant take pictures of it. people never know what hell even fucking looks like. of there even IS one. >_>

@RDD756 Just keep pretending that there is no justice in the universe and then find out for sure once it's too late! Good strategy! (Insert evil laughter here!)

Characteristic eight: copious amounts of bullshit.

@HypaSonicDeathMonkey You'll find out for sure one second after your death. In the mean time, keep pretending there is no justice in the universe so you can keep on believing and doing whatever you want!
