Sorry to say but coming from a real ballet dancer, the man wasn't doing proper fouette turns he never brought his leg into passe. The female dancer was doing proper fouette's she should have won on technicality. He should not have that's absolute bull! He was doing a la seconde turns. Fuck you guinness world records.

did u read what u wrote?! fouettés r fouettés, and a la seconde turns r a la seconde turns... they didi different things... he can't win a fouettés competition if he wasn't doing fouettés... it's called reality...

I understand that what the guy is doing is hard too... BUT they weren't fouettes! He was in second! It goes faster like that! The girl was doing it right AND on pointe!! Boo

@TorrenGallagher "hoping and swinging a foot" which you call it isn't easy too. It may be more less difficult than a fouette but it's still hard.

Wasn't he doing a la seconde turns? I just wish that they were both on flat and doing the same type of fouettes.

Hmm... He wasn't wearing pointe shoes... The male dancer has an easier time technically step-wise. The female has to stand on her toe while spinning while the male can basically hop and swing a foot. XD I imagine a lot of ballet dancers got upset watching this... XD =)
