Video game soundtracks are remarkably under-appreciated in the larger world of music in general. This track in particular is evocative, emotional, and haunting, doubly so when you know the story behind it. Movie soundtracks operate in much the same way, but I've never seen a video game soundtrack, on its own, win awards like movie soundtracks do.

This should be the theme of all Assassins Creed's. Like instead of Ubisoft's normal opening, they should make a special entrance for this series (because we all know this is the best series they have made) in the beginning like a slow fade ubisoft logo or something for the beginning light part. Then when the climax happens (the really high voice) ASSASSINS CREED would pop up at that point just like they did in Assassins Creed 2. That was EPIC.
