No surprises here. They don't just blame NZ white people either. Virtually everywhere I worked overseas there would be Maoris that would at some point not get a joke or feel out of their depth and out came the aggression card to make themselves feel better. I saw many a good laugh a minute night wrecked by arseholes just like this.
There was always "someone else" at fault every time as well. Fucking tedious, unproductive and long term it is poison for the soul. I am fucking sick of it.

yeah actually since i posted that comment i've heard a lot more about the history of tuhoe and rua kenana and how they have always been a marginalised iwi. I have more sympathy for them now and see where their anger stems from.

It is almost like they are so angry they dont know how to handle it, so they just lash out at anyone. Much like an animal.

I have removed blocked some of you from making comments because of the outright hatred being displayed. Posting this video was not about being racist. I was pissed off at the reaction of the protestors who had gone to great lengths to get attention for their cause then alienated themselves by their actions. If idiots like Dragontoes continue to make stupid comments I will block all comments! Thanks to those of you who have made good arguments whatever your perspective, please continue

The dude needs to back up they are protesting for his rights too. He would join in if he was more informed. They are protesting the New Zealand police trying to turn a respected maori activist into a terrorist, which they failed to do now that it's been through our court system. The damage here has sadly already been done though by their drastic actions on the day of the arrest. They alerted media in an obvious PR effort to convince NZ that we are not safe from activists.

If you look closely he was actually no where near the path of the protest. I watched a protester push a photographer to the ground and another camera man get abused that day. There was little effort to fight for any rights that day. Compared to the first protest, which was very much about fighting for rights, this protest was aggressive from the start. I have sympathy for the cause, but not the actions of this particular protest.

It was protesting terror supression laws in New Zealand. Also protesting police attempts to charge people in New Zealand under the terrorism laws. The protestors were just anti everyone and very aggressive. As a result of the actions there was little coverage in NZ of the protest.
