You say thet you are a strong atheist, yet you make the same tired claim that christians make to justify their beliefs. Through your experience, certain things have happened to you that you cannot explain, therefore ghosts, or as you put it in your new age term "energies". Yet there is no scientific evidence to support your theory. I could very well say I heard a noise and felt something, so that I know for sure invisible unicorns exist. Makes sense, yeah? Please. Get a clue.

Interesting the one believer is from Court TV. Our court system relies on rational thought and evidence, after all.

I am a strong atheist. Not that it has anything or any effect on the paranormal or the subject matter. But based on what I have phisically felt, and have heard next to me a few times I definitely believe in ghosts. I dislike the term ghosts. Rather I use the term energies. I really think that we all have that spark that propells our bodies to life. But after we die, who knows. But yes, that energy (coined as ghosts) does exist. You only belive this when it happens to you though. Granted.

WTF is there a debate like this at DragonCon? Thats just bizarre.

A lot of smart people there, so a lot of skeptics.
A lot of people there, so a lot of proselytizers.
