Our final university dance performance and assessment, called "A Story of a Meeting"

A meeting, encounter, journey, relationship.
Forging friendships and relationships, a connection with another,
is a fundamental need for a human being.
Such connections can lead to us be able to view ourselves as well as the other,
And can take us on a journey of changing emotions and changing selves.
However a connection with another can lead to a disconnection;
A moving and pulling away from the very thing or person,
With whom we had the connection.

Our dance piece reflects this connection with another; a snapshot of a meeting and the journey that that entails.
Our piece was inspired by the choreographer and dance artist Rosemary Butcher and her dance piece called 'Imprints'. Imprints was based on the concept of one person leaving their imprint upon another person.
