The system should be changed to print out two receipts for each vote -- one the voter keeps, the other goes into a locked box. We get a receipt for every $5 hamburger we buy. This is not rocket science.

This is misleading because if the software stays on the card then i could be detected but if it deletes its self then it couldnt possibly spread to another machine.

scary scary stuff. thanks princeton (PS: please don't steal the election). Diebold's response to this was absolutely insufficient and probably even more frightening than the video itself: they basically put their head in the sand and say the thing works fine.
