See, this stuff right here is what makes me laugh when hippie sorts say animals don't have wars or murder. This spat right here was probably over territory or one eagle trying to have a go at the other's mate. Animals fight all the time. I'm not saying animals are evil and bad, I'm saying give humans a little credit.

The bird wandered off after about an hour or so, before Fish and Game showed up. I'd like to assume it lived.

Amazing! I've seen tons of eagles but I've never seen them doing anything like that. The ones I've encountered are extremely skittish around humans. Were they both injured or was the other one just too pissed to fly away?

They are so common place in Dutch Harbor, that they don't really fear humans too much... You can walk within 5 to 10 feet of them before they fly away.
