Me messing around with my Behringer DJX700 and a Pioneer CDJ-200. Sorry for not being able to show the turntable as well ... camera's lousy.

Track going out: Paulo Colina - Le voie le soleil
Track coming in: Yves Larock - Rise Up (Vandalism Remix)

Please don't be mad, I just started mixing a few days ago ;-)

And please leave comments, tipps, whatever :)

  • I THINK SOMBODY IS PLAYING A PRE-MIXED CD :O... YOU HAVE NOT EVEN TOUCHED THE HEADPHONES...SO HOW DID U CUE UR TRACKS UP??

  • the curve shud be in the middle

  • nothing to get mad about here, nice mix mate, hope the mixing is still sweet today!

  • @deufel86 the x fader should have an adjust on it ....based on what level your mixer looks. Sometimes called crossfader or cf curve. i think yours should be just to the right of your assign knob b. U will appreciate the crossfader as you improve your skills and want to do nice little flips and fades

  • @deufel86 The crossfader does allow you to play both tunes together or just the one separately. the channel faders are handy for if one track is recorded louder than the other so you adjust the volumes so the new track doesnt overpower the track already playing. or vice versa. some of my vinyl is pressed louder than my mp3's so need to work with the channel faders in order to hear the mp3 coming in. if the volume difference isn't too drastic the gains can be used for this also.

  • @DJKODIEBLAK don't know ... i had no issues so far. according to the price it must be crap, but i didn't have any problems with it. if it messes up, i'll just throw it away ^^
