Thanks, I did enjoy the bike. I sold it back in April of 09. It was a bit heavy for me..was my first bike..

Most PD's do remove emergency equipment pior to a sale or require the new owner to do so before it is put back on the road..

This bike was used in CO. the bike was sold to a Funeral Escort Service in CO. Escorts are considered Emergency Vehicles and are allowed to keep the equipment..

I'm a EMT. I sent copiesof my ID the Escort service left it on...

I rarely activated the equipment

The CHP edition Kawasaki 1000 was/is one of the most elegant POlice/law enforcement moto cycles ever producded. I hope this machine went to an apprecative ownder, and that it stays in a collection where it will be lovely looked after and preserved with all its Kit

ok dude but my dad has lights and he is a dallas police officer but its not a part of their fleet and they let him use them even with me on it but his has different seat haha

@joe23da Yea, I was a great bike but it was my first..a bit top heavy..I miss it though

As far as lights go ..check your local laws..some LEOs don't have much of a sense of humor..As I mentioned..I didn't abuse the extra toys and I do have "ID" that may help in my state..but wouldn't travel out with the lights showing...
