For all those who were hating on my car he did put 22" on it and I did eventually get a new paint job we got ride of the 4 kicked and got 2 18's one was ma audio and the other was FI BTL and he got a name brand class D mono block amp forget what it was but it got all the highs lows and mids and it pounded but we sold the impala and now own a 2006 monte carlo

@IIRYDER99II Your Chev has the "plain" rear bumper with guards, pretty rare, the most uncommon. You could get 4 different bumper "trim" packages for these cars back then: plain (like your front), rub strip with no guards (mine), rub strip with guards (mostly on Caprices) or guards without strip (yours). You may or may not give a shit about this info, but it gives you something to bring up at car shows. Check out my '83 on coldwarmotors.blogspot.com. (on "old posts")

@xxhittmanxx your opinion is extremely valid when speaking of the people who enjoy showing how loud your system publicly. What about the ones who want to remove the rattle because in their opinion the cleaner bass and sound quality is more important than what other people think. I, on the other hand, want the loudest possble system that won't destroy my car but still sounds great. So getting a product like dynamat would possibly be greatly benificial. To each his own though...
