Another way you can tell that she's deaf; she wasn't wearing a blindfold because she wouldn't have known when to pull it off (the three beeps), and was instead informed that the game had begun simply when her lights turned on.

@Konkreter I think shes deaf... look at the way she puts her hand on the speakers, to feel the vibrations of the sound. And when the directors cut sound from 2:17 to show what its like from her perspective. But i must admit, im still a little confused about the whole barking dog stuff going on in the comments... anyone wanna help me out? :)

@coffeetea720 even if it was a real dog barking in the first part. Dogs don't bark 24/7 it could have been asleep when he turned on all the rooms
