what does age have to do with your vocal chords? Bom sings it better not because she's 10yrs older but because she's got talent! minzy is about the same age as suzy but has a very powerful voice. Sure, suzy didnt sound great but she can definitely sing. Everybody is different and unique in their own way. No need to compare.

I think Suzy did a good job. This was a contest ("1000 songs" contest for idol singers). Perhaps she didn't remember the lyric in whole. It's understandable, who can remember other singers' songs really (there are thousands of them!!!)

But her voice is very nice. She just don't remember the lyrics, that's all.

Totally does it mean she young that affect her vocals min is not like 10 year old older then suzy she is only slightly older but she can sing these song very well because she have the vocals she have the dance and all this it doesn mean suzy is young so she can't sing this song well just face the truth

Oh god, the haters embarrassing the rest of us Blackjacks. Even though it's natural to compare since Suzy IS singing Bom's song, there's no need to post some of those harsher comments (especially when I'm fairly certain the lot of you know very little about singing, singing techniques, and the anatomy related to singing).

Right, because going onto other groups' videos only to bash them gives 2NE1 fans a great reputation...

@SalaAfoa Actually age has a LOT to do with singing ability. Firstly in terms of experience, and secondly in terms of the anatomical development of the vocal cords. An older person, unless they started singing at a later age, will have more experience. Vocal cords continue to develop for many years after puberty; the chances are more subtle, but most people under say age 25 will have slightly less control of the cords compared to someone older. It's natural.

I think she wasn't so good here because she didn't know the song so well. If you listen, she doesn't even know some of the lyrics. And she repeated the same tone for one of the lines when it wasn't supposed to be sung in that pitch. Just saying. But of course Bom is a great singer. Suzy isn't bad either though!
