  • omg! I'm watching this late! it's because alot of people posted vids and moved this one onto the second page! o_o great vid! yes! hrmmms could I make these grains into. I dunno.. a chia seed held together crackers? I don't really know what to do with them. in combination of other foods... should they be eaten alone? maybe with a dip of some sort? o_o

  • Well I'm glad you caught it!

The grain once sprouted or germinated probably wouldn't be good in a cracker since they'd get hard again (except buckwheat, it will become crunchy and nice). You could dehydrate grains after sprouting until dry and then blend them into a flour in a coffee grinder or grain mill.

I find grains best added to salads. Sprouted wild rice and buckwheat go great on a salad. I'd only use sprouted legumes in a dip, not the grains.

  • I've been eying the bulk bin of wild rice much to my dad's dismay. Maybe I'll get some next trip into the big city. I have some buckwheat already. I also have some lintels I was meaning to sprout. so you make a sort of legume bean dip? buckwheat crackers and bean-like dip might be fun! I'll experiment! =D

  • Make a viedo about it when you do :)

  • Thanks, Good information, What is your opinion about Burdok Root?

    Thanks ;0), Peace.

  • I'll answer this on Q&A on Sunday if you don't mind :)

  • great video series however I think there is too much loss of continuity due to the long intervals between posts

  • Thanks! Yeah I currently eat small amounts of simple sugars too, people just kept asking me about how to do a no-sugar thing since so many people have issues from overdoing the fruit, agave etc.

  • Good video. I am a big believer in no cooked/processed grains or simple sugars, especially since grains are not consumed in the wild because they usually have to be farmed, with very few exceptions. I eat some raw honey and organic/wild fruit and thats about it for my carb source. I try to fill the rest in with healthy raw fats/protein, fermented foods, veggies, and herbs, including seaweed. We ate a healthy amount of good fats thousands of years ago. But everyone responds differently too.
