Correct me if I'm wrong but "FOG'" lights are are different color than head lights

@OnTheStreetScene They are exactly the same. The color seems different because the headlight lens tends to wear out faster than the fog light. Also the headlight has a projector which tends to give it a color spectrum that is caused by the projection of the light

can u make a video of the install of the foglights i have done my headlights but cant seem to figure out the foglights

@jddb1984 If I recall I had to go under the car to install the foglights. Sorry but this was a customers car and I am unable to make the video.

@jddb1984 I just removed a revit that held the wheel well liner and installed the fogs that way. Just turn ur wheels in and pop off the revits and install ur fogs that way. Much easier then getting under ur car and removing the bumper. Hope this helps.

Do ur fogs match ur head lights perfectly? Cuz I just installed my hid kit for my fogs and the bulbs for the fog lights seem a little different then the head lights. The fogs and headlights are both 6000k it's just they don't seem the same. The fogs seem more blue/green. Please help! Plus my fogs flicker a bit.

@verhoffj1 If You would like to try changing out the ballasts I can sell them for $30 each plus shipping. I have a Paypal business account. Keep in mind that the bulbs might also need to be changed but more than likley it is just the ballasts causing the flickering. The ones I have are AC digital ballasts with 2 year warranty.

@verhoffj1 Yes, you are right. DC ballasts come in slim also. They even come in plastic housings in most cases. DC stands for direct current and is an analog kit. Basically it is the cheapest way to make a HID kit. Average price for this kit is $15 to $250. An AC kit, on the other hand is a high quality kit that comes in 8 bit, 16 bit, 32 bit and 64 bit (canbus ballast). The higher the bits the more expensive. I recomend the 8 bit and 16 bit for a good quality kit and low price for most cars.
