Airshowvision proudly present a short highlights compilation from the Royal Navy Air Station Yeovilton Airday 2011.
Highlights included a Sea Vixen/Vulcan flypast, Polish AF Mig29 demo, plus the French Navy Rafale M and Super Etendard role demonstrations.
Also amongst the highlights were the Dutch AF Apache, the amazing flare popping "Mitch" Buelen Belgian AF F16 MLU demo and the RAF Tornado role demo.
The show commemorated the Westland Lynx, and featured a mass 9 ship flypast of the type, and ended with the familiar Commando assault featuring the British Army and Royal Navy.
An excellent line up given the current difficult circumstances facing military airshow organisers - but still sadly no RAF Typhoon. Amazingly the French Navy still took part despite ttheir aircraft being involved in carrier operations off the coast of Libya.
Good video, but i think you should change the countdown bit at the start, its very cheap, and the musics abit cheap.

@TheFlightLog I disagree with you 1000%. This is a brilliant piece of action music, and the countdown clock gives viewers time to set up the screen before the main video begins; and if the circle is not a perfect round shape it tells you immediately if the picture is in perfect proportion & not squashed.

thats awesome, i have never seen an aircraft release flares at a show before!

@insanelewis21 That's because there has been a flares ban at UK airshows for a couple of years - hopefully it is over, because they add a total new dimension to the dislay - i love them.
