After about 5 PM I switch from Marlboro Reds to straights, which means some brand of good tasting, unfiltered cigarettes, until I turn in. I'll use 'em all night if I'm driving because they are strong and help keep me awake. This unfliltered Camel I fired up around 5 o'clock today tasted real good. So, right away, I got into smokin' it. I hauled it hard, and I took it all the way down fast. I noticed there's lots more visible smoke than with Marlboro's, but unfiltereds will do that!. And there are tons of extra taste coming from all that smoke, especially when you go at 'em, with no let-up. These unfiltered Camels are old-fashioned, great cigarettes. There's no doubt about it. They are very strong and hot. And they have a "bite" that's unique just to them. If you can handle 'em, they're a good way to go. But then I'm a hardcore smoker and, by now, I know what I want! No foolin' around, I'm into this one all the way. It's all hardcore smoke haulin'! No B.S., got off to a fast start, fired up hard right away, got it real hot and deliverin' all it could. There's no wavin' it around during this smoke and no let up either--because I want max. enjoyment, not just some enjoyment.... These are US made cigarettes and not limited in the amount of nicotine and tar they can deliver, like cigarettes that are made in Europe, Canada and elsewhere. I get almost 3 mg nicotine with each one of these Camels, with the way I smoke 'em, and, of course, tons of tar and good taste, too.

  • Amount of nicotine and tar and carbon monoxide?

  • @TeunTheGod 1.7 mg nicotine and 23 mg tar. CO not measured. Add 50% more because of the way I smoke 'em.

  • @DriverRob73 That's beast. I bought a fresh pack of Original Kents yesterday for €5,20. The ingredients were horrible, just a waste of my money! 4mg of tar and only 0,4mg of nicotine! I was so angry ...

  • @TeunTheGod Sorry, you were ripped-off with a bad product. With cigarettes (and cigars and pipe tobacco, wine, beer, and more) you usually have to pay more for quality and better taste. Here, we say-- "you get what you pay for".... Sucks, when you don't have a lot of money, plus the taxes are higher in Europe, too, making even bad cigarettes expensive to buy. That's what the nannies want to do here in the U.S.--keep raising taxes so people can't afford to smoke.

  • @IntergalacticFetus99 This is exactly right. Smoking, by itself, doesn't give you cancer. Stress, poor diet, being in bad shape and ingesting lots of other crap, all taken together are what causes cancer. It's a fact that the government and smoke nannies don't want you to know, that most smokers don't get cancer. It's also a fact that we will all die, of something, so the whole business is just a control mechanism. Try to enjoy your life when you can. It's your life, not the government's.
