I recently stripped half the teeth off my cam shaft so I decided to go ahead and do a little "upgrade" along with the cam swap. I've wanted a set since I saw them in Muscle Mustangs & Fast Fords. AFR 185 cylinder heads!

what do you set the timing at i`m at 12* in my 89 mustang. will the xe274h cam work with the stock pistons

depends on what heads you have. if you have larger 2.02 valves they might hit. I have valve reliefs in my pistons.

I have a COMP CAMS XE274h cam with 1.7 CRANE rockers.

im curious how did u know your cam was teeth were messed was your distributor gear teeth mess too

The distributor teeth where in good shape so when I put the dist. back in and it didn't turn I removed it again and looked down into the engine...NO TEETH!!! Its all back together and runs ALOT better with the new heads. I have more video but havn't had the time to edit and post yet. Thanks for watching!!!
