Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 3 - Boss #12 Krang

I hate Krang in both TMNT II and III, he always takes so much hits to kill and has a variety of deadly attacks.

Playing that game would piss me off.. He looks hard enough but when his legs separated and started flying around kicking you that was just ridiculous.

Personally, I consider this boss as the hardest in the game - unlike Super Shredder he is very unpredictable and has very annoying attacks.

And when I saw for the first time his separation I was totally like WTF?!?!
Then I laughed, then Krang killed me...
Sad story. :)

It was always weird how this TMNT game and the other one would label your remaining lives as "R," as in Rest, as in the rest of your remaining men. No other game calls it that...

Actually a LOT of old Konami games labeled the remaining lives as "Rest".

I'd probably hate Krang too if he didn't have such an awesome theme.
This game, 2 and 4 is on my list of games I want on Virtual Console

Ah, I remember owning TMNT II and TMNT III for the NES a few years ago and this fight was almost as bad, if not worse, than the TMNT II Krang fight and the Shogun fight combined. Then again, I pwned Krang in both games, too. To those jabronis that say that the arcade version of TMNT is the harder version of the game, I am sorry, but for the most part, the NES version has it beat hands down AND it has more enemies and stages than the arcade version, too.

Yes it was, nils920. They just called it TMNT II: The Manhattan Project for the Famicom. Go to Gamefaqs and they will have it listed for you.

Yeah, I knew that. What I ment was it's so unfair the third game was not released in Europe.

That would be Rahzar, not Razor, TherealRNO and yes, your observation was noted but the portal was not in the background on the Turtles in Time level.
