Take a look inside an eco RV. With the installation of 8 solar panels (enough to power your own power tools from the energy of the sun), recycled bamboo flooring, cork ceilings, non-toxic paints and stains, organic and wildcrafted nettle curtains, organic and wildcrafted milkweed comforters, bamboo and organic cotton mattresses and bedding, and more. This green RV was driven all over America by Sunny Savage, as she hosted the television show 'Hot on the Trail with Sunny Savage'. The show highlights identifying and cooking wild foods, and is an adventure travelogue around America. The motorhome is now for sale, as well as the option to buy the 1998 Black Yamaha Virage 1100cc Special motorcycle parked in the back. Both the motorhome and the motorcycle were featured in the upcoming television series 'Hot on the Trail with Sunny Savage'.

Sunnys wild food television series Hot on the Trail with Sunny Savage airs on Veria Network (DISH channel 218 and Verizon FIOS channel 162).

  • I understand not wanting to live with VOC's etc. in your RV, but I don't understand the need for ripping out everything "to be green." I seems a little wastefull to me. Could there be a better solution???

  • I like your show.

  • such a bore!

  • I lived in vehicles for some years through cold winters with no amenities, damp etc, I have to say this is lush and would have done me fine.

  • have to say i agree about the trendy green rig....but i feel my lot in life is to get people excited about living green. If you recreate what the desire is initially, then maybe it won't be built in the first place. Hopefully we can all work to proactively recreate the desire, and not carry judgement, negativity and choices that negatively impact our home into our new reality. *sunny

  • Yay; milkweed stuffing :) It'd be really cool if they sold 'kits' with the basic materials for an RV and instructions and tips on how to deck it out with enviro-friendly local materials. Could end up being cheaper for the consumer (only in terms of money; not time spent of course) and producing the bare-bones only for the kits would mean far fewer different types or brands of RV; making it easier at the production level. Just a thought. Cool video :)

  • trex; Indeed there are those out there who don't seem to look beyond the surface. However; much of the crap they ripped out was likely offgasing nasty things that they shouldn't be breathing. Furthermore; the stuff they used inside tend to have a very low ecological footprint; meaning the pollution they generate by production and disposal (and general use) can be quite low. You may say it's all a joke; but that RV looked to be in good condition after seeing a lot of use. Seems viable to me.

  • the greenest thing you can do to any dwelling is leave it alone. The fact that you ripped out the floor and so on to put in eco-trendy garbage changes nothing on total cf. It worsens it. But you look very ECO-Green SUBSATAINABLE trendy reclaimed and recycled. This whole movemnt is a joke and full of a lot of pseudo sciences...

  • A suggestion if you will put this on TV:

Please zoom out (wider) and move the camera more slowly. You can still hand-hold it, but pan or tilt much more slowly than you think you should. It will make a more pleasant video to watch, even on MTV.

I am jealous of your life-style. I will be on the road in an RV when I retire, but I will boondock - a slide-out would give me away.

So, see you in a year or two!

  • HAHA, it's like pimp my ride au naturel...I am sure that you will peek some one's interest...

    And with the moto too!
