  • @ozthunder Hi Michael - get the moon behind your back and a shower/storm in the front of you, make sure the moon is less than 42 degrees high, also pick a bright moon phase between full and gibbous and you should get a good moon bow. The nights after full moon are a good time, 2-3 days full when the moon rises in the E (for this hemisphere anyway) so any moonbows will be in the W. I hope this helps...

  • Is there some trick to seeing these, or do they just come out in a long exposure? or I am simply in the wrong latitude - I have never seen one.

  • @nolimetangere67 lol - thanks!

  • Martin, it's not nice of you to make everybody soooo envious! :-) I love your moonbows!
