To elaborate, anyone with simple machining skills can manufacture a firearm and ammunition. Prisoners sometimes make them with minimal equipment while IN PRISON (look up zip guns).

That makes no sense. Taking away all guns would not decrease the murder rate in the US. Gang problems are the main cause of murder and violent crime. I doubt very highly they would care if guns were banned or not. Over there in Europe they started to issue guns to police to combat the increase in gun crime. Again, logic helps.

And, according to your logic, if we banned cars altogether lots of people would not die. But you say it doesn't matter. What kind of view is that?

US death rate (total number of deaths per 1.000 inhabitants and year) is also 20% lower than in Sweden, Germany, Denmark... and most European Union. And 50% lower than russian rate
