I own lots of guns, but I don't like the idea of retard rednecks having them, so I support any government effort to limit gun rights and make it really hard to buy them. Smart people with money will ALWAYS be armed with the most bad ass shit regardless of what the law says.

Last time I checked, the USA homicide rate is only slightly higher then Europe, and both are quite low on the list, meanwhile, there are a few countries that don't give its citizens weapons who are much, much higher on the list, including parts of europe.
Clearly, the US is an uncultured wasteland full of violent fundamentalist christians.

Look at some African countries where almost everyone is armed to the teeth and an AK-47 costs $6 in some places. How well does that work out in a real conflict? Now let's get back to the USA and imagine something happened for some reason. So you think average untrained civilian with his stupid hunting rifle can do something against professional army armed with modern weaponry, air support and nuclear weapons?
