As u see the 2.5si could keep up with 3.0i because the 2.5si has SMG gearbox.

how can you compare a 3 lt i with a 2.5 s.i??? 3.0 i is aspowerfull as 3.0 s.i they even have the same torque and 0-100.

The only difference is that si engine has bettter cooling and fuel economy..what a lose..3000 cc vs 2,5???xaxa

Correction: 3.0i has 228HP, while the 3.0si model has 265HP. and btw the 2.5si has 3.0lt engine too :).

the x6 has a 4877cc engine so they round it up to 5. the 2.5 z4 has a 2497cc engine which they round up to 2.5. so again, where u gettin 3 litre from?

The video shows a 2.5si which is 2006 onwards and a new engine the other car is a 3.0 pre 2006 with an old engine. I know its an old shape because the other car has orange indicators which means its pre facelift. The facelift 2.5si can keep up with an old 3.0 but not with a new 3.0. I know because i actually own a z4 2.5si and it does have a 2.5litre engine with 219 bhp.

your fuckin dumb, 2.5 is 2.5 cylinder straight six, and 3.0 means 3liter straight six

2.5si has a 218hp and displacement of 2497 cc (152.376 cu in) and with SMG gearbox, he accelerates 0 - 60 in 6.9s, while 3.0i has a 231hp and disploacement of 2979 cc (181.79 cu in). With manual transmision, he accelerates 0-60 in 5.9s.

In conclusion, it is not an SMG gearbox that helped 2.5si to won this race, it`s the bad driver in 3.0i !!!

the first number stand for the model.. in your case its a 3. the second number stand for the litres and the third for the degree of evolution. but this only goes for models 1,3,5,6,7....

so the z4 2.5i for example does have a 2.5 litre engine

I have a 325i E90 (2007) in the instruction manual says is a 2.5 lt. and in other places says 3.0 lt., I want to know the power of the Z4 2.5 not the Si version???? the 2.5Si is the same motor in my CAr with 218hp.
