  • @balisticsquirel He'll understand when someone invents a social system that makes his very innovative approach totally redundant.

  • SAD that the world has innovation and invention defined by a politician.

    Invention is in the definitive example "invent the wheel". While innovation is "Hey, i can make a better wheel than your round stone".

    You can only patent an invention, not an innovation.

    Inventions happen more rarely, and it's true that they may not be profitable in the sense that only a manifestation of the invention in the form of one of the successive innovations can be useful directly. But invention is not useless.
