This is a very rough cut of a video of some of my favorite moments of Pushing Daisies I made for my Existentialism class. I didn't use any transitions or effects, and I really didn't do a great job cutting the scenes together, but I tried to give it at least somewhat of a natural progression from theme to theme. It's basically just a sample of great moments to give people who have never seen PD an idea of what it's like and why it's amazing.

For me, personally, making this was a great experience because it really allowed me to play around with iMovie so when I attempt to make a real vid it won't be my first time using the program and hopefully it'll be a little bit better than it otherwise would've been!

Thank you to all of my youtube/twitter friends, especially luvtheheaven3 and lovingjackdawson!!!! And thank you to my Existentialism teacher for letting me do my favorite television show for my project!

  • Aw, this was so cute! Thanks for reminding me why I loved Pushing Daisies to begin with. So many cute moments, it was such an inventive, creative show! I love Ned and Chuck, but my favorite moments are always the Emerson ones. He's hilarious. "You're a knitting detective" and "The money don't care, touch him!"; I was so glad they were both in there. :) Also, Lee Pace is adorable.

  • @lovingjackdawson lol, thanks! yeah, I LOVE Emerson, too...I also adore "Really? A prison graveyard? That's where y'all are gonna have this conversation?" and "Or bang, you talk too much and go wait in the car" and, though I didn't include it, "Yeah, we're taking two cars next time..."

Gah, isn't he?! I would so marry him...a girl in my class was like, "He's really cute!" when I first pulled up the vid and I was like YEAH! And then the guys in our class laughed...thanks so much for commenting!!

  • Did you make it clear to your Existentialism class that Ned can't touch the people he's awoken from the dead? Because otherwise some (well actually most lol) of the Ned/Chuck stuff might be confusing lol. But aw, this was great, reminded me of all the great things in Pushing Daisies. I just might show this to my dad later since he never saw the show. :D I do think actually a lot of it might not make sense if you don't know anything about the show... but enough of it would be intriguing. :D

  • @luvtheheaven3 Yeah, I did...I gave a presentation w/ a power point explaining the show and the characters and how the show (both the plot and the show as a production) is existentialist, then I showed them this to give an example of what the show is like.

    Aw, you're so sweet! It's June 25th :-). (625=my b-day AND the page of R/Hr's first kiss :-D)

  • @getitherereloaded By

develop the relationship", I'm sure you mean "make them have sex". If that's the case then I think it's obvious what should be said here.
