Truth is,
I've always roamed with
this particular tribe.
You know the sort where we
read each other's minds for fun
and bind ourselves to the
edge of pain for kicks.
We are lighthouses.
pointing out the rocks
cutting thru small talk
like shafts of light.
Puncturing a whole thru night.
We've always been cynical of those
who don't use their blood for ink.
And when this dimension bends into the
next one...
We'll be there.
We are fire.
