Challenge #10: Mechanical Grabber - Channel Glove v4

This is a video of my 1st submission to the Golem's challenge # 10. The challenge was to build a machine could catch a ball that was falling from a random position. My entry is purely my own and is based on the idea of a a mixture of a storm gutter and a baseball glove. The channel spins itself to stay under the ball and then slopes towards the goal position (the blue square). The channel folds out so that the starting position is within the red square and when complete, folds back to its original position. Pyrotechnics have been added for visual effect.
