I have a pet baby alligator of my own!! they can make really good pets but you have to hold them everyday and feed them everyday!

It is a State Park in Homosassa, Florida, which is about 80 miles North of Tampa on the Gulf coast side. Besdies film production in my spare time I am a volunteer diver at the park. As divers we clean the windows on the underwater observatory which is home to several manatees.

Again great video, i am a resident to the Chicagoland area and am hoping to move down to Florida at sometime to work with the wildlife. Do you know if there are alot of opportunities at this time?

There are over 200 volunteers at the Homosassa Park. Paying jobs such as a ranger, although not impossible, are few and far between.

You need a permit to have an alligator AND they get really, really, BIG!
