This is our 2nd installment in our "One Song Reflection" series. This time members of the band are reflecting on Steve Angrisano and Tom Tomaszek's song, "Go Make A Difference".
With all due respect, this song is the perfect example of what is wrong with music being sung in Catholic churches today, especially in the United States. Crack open a copy of Muzak Issue and read the lyrics, and study up on the theology of sacred music in the context of the Holy Mass, and you'll see what I mean. For youth rallies or retreats it's great, but definately not appropriate for Mass.
the Diocese Of Sacramento used this song in their Annual Catholic Appeal video shown at all masses this weekend

@rcjeff "The spirit of Christ will be with us as we go" is in one of the verses.
