SNES Sensible Soccer - Portugal vs England

Being part of a minority is hard work. even tough im portuguese, I don't like football at all! But I do like videogames, and when Sensible Software delivere Sensilbe Soccer on the Amiga 500, it was pure fun filled afternnons with friends. This is a Friendly Match on Super Nintendo, Portugal vs England and I assure you will keep guessing the final score until the end. It was a shame Sensible World of Soccer never made it to the 16 bit game consoles... and why has no one picked this up for release/remake on the Nintendo DS!?

Being in my younger days (<10) this game was superb. Back then playing this game was more enjoyable than playing your current Pro Evolution soccer games.

I read the comments here and people go on about how it isn't attractive, and all that shite. But it's enjoyment that counts and this game, when it was just out was one of the greatest games of all time.

Just like the original Super Mario Bros.

Sensible Soccer was hours of fun. Man, that was good times :)

I still remember shooting from the halfway line and seeing fly in every time made me laugh was losing 3-0 after about 24 mins and ending up winning 7-3 those were the days lol go Toolbox FC :P

this was the best football game before fifa and iss were released. super formation soccer had way better graphics but the gameplay of sensible soccer was just great. miles ahead of any other football game of its time.

i used to love this, im tempted to buy a mega drive, snes or even an xbox to get it on a console. anyone know how these versions compare? i used to have the amiga and pc versions.
