I think that probaly the single worst thing you can do on your escape from the vault is kill the overseer. Because it makes the quest where you come back to Vault 101 only possible to beat it if you kill someone. and I prefer t keep thigs diplomatic myself.

Being Good in this game: Easy, treat everyone with respect and help everyone.

Being Bad: Easier, kill everyone, find Mr.Burke, blow up Megaton.

Being Neutral:HARD AS HELL. What are you supposed to do? Kill someone then appologize for it?
