  • There will never be another Bobby DeBarge. What a voice .I've never heard anyone sing like this man ,he was so talented. When I heard of all the pain and misery that he endured it made me so sad. It's a shame that he had to go so soon .I remember growing up hearing Switch - I feel this music is a part of me ... my childhood growing up.. becuase my Mom played this music all the time .. it always brings back good memories.

  • It is because of gifted artists like Bobby De that I am so grateful to have grown up in the 70s when music was real and pure and the essence of the artists could really shine through. What a voice. What a vessel. That man's voice still gives me the same chills it did in 78 ... and I savor each one. That's a rare gift he was possessed with...for real.

  • @ZadiLady THANKS, I agree with you and MusicLova84 he was an absolute "one of a kind" vocalist I love his musical efforts we are blessed to have his beautiful music and I listen to it daily. Love, joy and peace to Bobby in heaven . 02-03-12.

  • @MusicLova84 THANKS, I agree El is so very talented and gifted, but I believe Bobby was a beautiful big brother to him and an awesome mentor and supporter of his efforts in music. As you say Bobby was the very beginning and he was and remains phenomenol in his own musical efforts he left for us to enjoy. 02-03-12.

  • @BLAKPEARL69 If you know where to look, IT IS. Hint: not on MTV, not on BET, not on VH-1, and definitely (for the most part) not on major radio stations. Peace.

  • @MusicLova84 True indeed. Peep the interview where even El admits that he was initimated by his older Bobby's ability to nail a song PERFECTLY in the first take. El is good, don't get me wrong, but in terms of Bro. Bobby, as Switch sang, "There'll Never Be". Peace!

  • LOVE Bobby & The DeBarge family. I met Bobby along w/ James,Randy & Mark DeBarge in 1987 when they were out promoting Bad Boys CD @ a small club... They were sooo NICE!! I talked to them for a little while, a night I will NEVER forget! RIP Bobby... the memory of meeting u will forever be in my heart!

  • This is the best and hopefully not the end of real music. It has to make a comeback.

  • @MusicLova84 - To tell you the truth I thought El was Bobby they looks so much alike and sound alike as well in every way. When I learn about Bobby I was in shock and the from mother DeBarge on down sings like ANGELS to me. I love this family just as much as I love the Jacksons. I notice hw so connected they are to the Jacksons, found out the reason way, these 2 family will never be apart because Janet and James daughter will keep them together forever. These 2 families belongs together.

  • I agree 6 people don't real music! R.I.P. Bobby DeBarge by the way my name is Bobby too but I'm a female.

  • 6 people dont know what real music is!!!!

  • @Mshoney720 totally agree with you, I so love this album!
