Swiss Ballerina Kusha Alexi

Brilliant soloists KUSHA ALEXI & AMILCAR MORET GONZALEZ in scenes from the ballet Don Quixote.

Both former principals of the Munich, Zurich, and Monte Carlo Ballet Companies, they are married to each other and presently dancing in John Neumeier's Hamburg Ballet.

The video alternates between stage, class and rehearsals, with some insightful commentary by Kusha in her native Swiss dialect.

I have seen her dance so many times in Zurich and always enjoyed watching her so much, I was really sad when she left the company. Kusha and her husband are such a lovely couple and both are really nice!

Kusha: A optimal situation is when I can go to the stage and forgetting all people and I can move myself to the music, when I don't even have to think on the steps or the method. I can let me go and tell the story ot the ballet. I put myself in the place/role and everthing comes automatic. ...
