@SustenanceNCovering Great! I found, what I think is some, in my yard too, so I'm going to try it out. I'll have to wait until we don't have anything but mud in the yard, but I can't wait to try it. Just love the free stuff!
God is so good, for letting us find all the wonders He planted for everyone. I've found a lot of new things to eat, and it was during the winter too! can't wait for the summer finds.

@MrStr8diesel I chewed on some kind of weed today that had me spitting for about 5 minutes. Nasty.

Hey pal...just wanted to let ya know about some more native plants!! The wax myrtle you spoke about in one of your videos is also great for insect repelent! Native Indians used it for this purpose. Also there is a tree here around my southeastern home called the osage orange! It grows wild and Im not a 100% if edible but it smells just like a normal orange. If not edible it could be used for scent cover or bait maybe....what are your thoughts?

@bpilcher6799 I have never seen an osage orange in real life, all that I know about it is what I read on wikipedia. I have a big fruit that grows around here called tounge nut. They are suppose to be poisonous, but I don't know for sure.

@bpilcher6799 Oh yeah wax myrtle is good for keeping fleas away if you put it in your dog bed. I sleep with my dog, and am not really willing to fill my matress with wax myrtyle. Another tree that I have found in my yard is camphor. That works for the same thing.

@yec1JF I am in the process of ripping all of my agricultural products out of my raised beds and planting native species. I have yet to locate any lambsquarters. I was told that Quinoa was almost the same as lambsquarters so I bought some but it had been processed in such a way that it wouldn't sprout.
