Ironically Sid was a big Bowie fan, and Lydon actually quite liked Pink Floyd, and I won't even mention the Utterly Butterly adverts.

Sid was more Nancy than Nazi.
The swastikas were just symbolism, flipping the bird to the WWII generation that was running the show back then.
