General Hospital - 1996 Emily learns the jitterbug v.2

1996 - Emily prepares for the 50's dance at school by borrowing a poodleskirt from Bobbie. Emily calls Monica "Mom" for the first time. Bobbie becomes sentimental and Monica tells Emily about BJ. (Actually, at this point in the storyline, Bobbie is thinking about the daughter she gave up for adoption - Carly). Later, they test drive the poodleskirt by teaching Emily how to jitterbug. Watch Monica, Bobbie and Emily dance.

I'm reposting this because a lot of people seem to be having problems viewing the first version of this.

Emily may call Monica "mom," but she never called her "mommy." those were the sweetest days... I need my Em back :( preferably Amber Tamblyn, but I just want the Quartermaine dynamic back! ah, the 90s... the good old golden age of GH.

I think she did call Monica "mommy" one time. During the Dorman storyline of 1997-it's when Monica and Alan Argue Over Emily (I believe that's the title). Anyway, not to spoil the clip or anything but when Monica runs into the room to comfort Emily, I think Em calls her "mommy" when she runs into her arms. That's what I heard anyway. But I agree that AT needs to come back to GH :'(

@Riss313 They've got a girl on there this season who is a trained dancer...and then they had Mya on there and she was a trained dancer. I wouldn't mind seeing Jackie go on DWTS.

Who knows...comparing ballroom to ballet is like comparing an apple and an orange - totally different. They've had people with a dance background on before and it didn't always translate itnto success...with Jackie it might be different but there really is no way of knowing.

I would too! I don't think she could though because she is a trained dancer...but I still would love to see her!

She IS an awesome dancer....the training is obvious as she is very light and bouncy on her feet and quick to boot - maybe a turn on Dancing With the Stars?!? I'd totally go for seeing either of them on that show...:)
