  • It's an antistatic wrist strap.

Yes, Phenom 9850 needs motherboards that can support 140W CPU. I read many times that not all AM2 motherboard can support these kind of CPU.

I suggest you get M3A79-T instead, It's newer and much more stable than this M3A32 - so I heard.

  • Have you ahd any problems with this board?

  • One problem: couldn't run 1066 with 4 slots filled.

    Sweet other than that.

  • Oh, ok thats a good heads up then, but im waiting for the new Deneb so i can have DDR3 from what i hear anyway i will have a DDR3 capable motherboard, we will soon find out :)

    Thanks.

  • O yeah, but then again, this is the first board of its kind, who knows if the first DDR3 capable mb would already be completely trouble free unlike this one?

The Bios on this board now definately way much better than when it first out though.

  • that cooler is the best its almost as good as water cooling :O

  • Yes, it is very cool. Bulky, but that's not a big deal.

  • What is that thing you have in your wrist?

Any problems with the CPU Power Consumition? I had a Phenom 9850 BE like you, in a hummm i dont remember what motherboard, but the fact is that all the capacitors exploded and i believe thats because of the 90 Watts the motherboard was supplying, the power consumition of the 9850 Phenom is 120Watts if im not wrong, whats your experience about it?

The M3A32 MVP Deluxe WIFI AP provides 140W,im saving for buying it soon, can you tell me please. :)

  • lol yeah you could use it as a weapon :O
