It hasn't been that Easy To Be Free, since December 31, 1985. I remember this show. It was my idol on my dad's idol's TV show.

It's New Year's Eve, and that always means i'll be thinking of him. In an odd coincidence, i saw Rick for the one and only time , exactly on that date. it was his New Year's Eve Performance at the Palomino club in Pasadena , CAlif. ~ as 1982 turned to 1983. exactly 2 years to the day before he died. i believe that was the very show he met his current galpal at the time he died. He was my idol for years as a boy and as a man in my 20s....

Desde luego que epoca mas buena para Rick,se adelanto a todos(en Country-Rock)...y si, era muy guapo,no hace falta ser Gay para verlo.ja.ja

guys I am just a regular guy....Damn Rick was a good looking guy....nothing gay or sexual intended...he was just pretty to look at...I see why women swooned
-
fantastic...shame the man had to die for people to wake up and she his talent

This is from Rick's best period, far as I'm concerned. He chose wisely when he recruited Tom Brumley on pedal steel.

This is another of my favorite songs of Rick's in his later years. Thanks for posting it.

don't forget louisiana man whene he sang that live with glen campbell

Best Rick song ever...SCB equals UNDERRATED!!
I think that's "Fang" on the Bass (Raiders) as opposed to Randy here.
Rick's greatest song, then a duet with Johnny Cash..... does it get any better?! Thank you so much for this upload.

Ricky Nelson and the Stone Canyon Band .. featuring Randy Meisner, Allan Kemp, Tom Brumley and Pat Shanahan. I feel this was when Rick was at his best .. this man was so under-rated and was a big part of music history. But his music lives on.
I worked with Rick during this time period and he poured his heart out into the music.
Thanks for the video's they are so hard to come by.
Hope to see more of them.
