It is obvious that German, Brit and USA are the real hands in creating this well-scripted smearing campaign on China. Yet the outcome is France trapped to be the front man in making this happening, while the Brits, Germans and the US are watching quietly and coldly behind the scene.

It acomplishes: 1 make France the culpit and the point of anger draw by the Chinese. 2 makes France look like a realy second fiddle, not the power corner of EU 3 draw Ch attention away from realy financial attack

I just don't think China, both Chinese government and Chinese people, will ever forgive France, deep from the bottom of their hearts. There is really no words to explain it but the seed of disgusting feel for France and French will be sowed in the next generation of Chinese. From now on, anything about France will be mentioned with their behaviors and roles (as the front man to the Anglo Axis) on this Olmpyic event.

Don't understand from int'l strategic point of view is: why France is doing this to Ch? Is it just because the 40B airbus contract from USA?

FR is like the second fiddling to the German-Brit-US Anglo-Saxxon power axis. Its realy adv is to be an unbiased entity bwteen the Anglos and the Russians and Chinese.  It keeps good dist to NATO is a strong symbol of its postion.
