Lastly, Ruthie fears that her parents may be heading for divorce court after overhearing them fight.

I'm an Australian and we do have Jury Duty I got stuck on it once for 7 weeks but we get paid so it wasn't too bad.

why doesn't she tell them she is engaged to a police officer. my family was always omitted from jury duty because we have a lot of members of law enforcement in our family.

i hope i never have to do jury duty anytime soon because i'm with lucy, i'm a full time student so that would mess up my work schedule and everything....people don't get it, college is crazy, if you miss one day or one whole week it's like your whole life is disorganized

@TheFashiongirl05 I'm sure that more than half of the jury is in school. My biology teacher had to be absent for classes because she got jury duty. We cancelled one class and the others were taught by another teacher.
