@flute1234 bush didnt allow it, he wanted to stop it as soon as it happend, but congress said, no its ok let freddy and bernie mac do there thing, and bush said well, there is nothing he can do unless they say yes stop them, bush pushed for it, for 2 years to try and get rid of them risky mortgages
