GP RV4 40 Kit Maiden Flight 25/7/09

My RV4 40 Kit from Greatplanes Maiden Flight 25/7/09. Exactly 7 months after started. Engine: Asp 46S II. Radio is Futaba 7c 2.4ghz with the 7ch receiver.

I still cant get over the nearly dry riverbed, its perfect. All of our rivers are full of water and crocs(not the shoes!)By the way my missus has issues with you now, Im mad keen to step up to an I.C. plane. More vids please

The land is conservation land, it is an always dry (except after rain) sand flats. The only time it gets wet is after rain which means no flying this weekend :(. I flew last weekend though, no video but some pics if you want them. Flaps are really effective, no more of those long landings. Eventually. I have a total of 4 flights on it and the RV4 is brilliant. What sort of IC plane are looking at?

Something .40 size. Been looking at a MK11 Skyraider. After the last Spitfire crash I think I need something a little more stable.........Ive still got lots of learning to do. I fly to Darwin on Friday so will check out whats available in the Hobby stores
