it's Barrington Spence, who recorded "Runaway Girl" and several others for Prince Tony for his TR Groovemaster label, but it was never released. it was just used for U-Roy, which is a shame because he did a great job. he also did a cover of Boothe's classic "Moving Away", which suffered the same fate and became U-Roy's "African Message"
Ken Boothe did the definitive version of "Runaway Girl" - Barrington Spence has named him as his primary singing influence, so it figures.
