Pacmantab: Sorry but the NFL did not apologize to the Steelers for "missing a holding call on Garrard's run". This false rumor was discussed on the Steelers forum and I tried to find a reference to this supposed apology. No such apology was issued. I don't believe there was any holding it was just a great play.

That was a crazy game. But, despite the fact the NFL apologized to Pittsburgh for missing a holding call on Garrad's run, we made too many mistakes in this game...should have never been this close.

That said, a true test for a team is not how they handle winning...but how they handle losing. After this bitter defeat, Pittsburgh rebounded and won another Super Bowl. Jax meanwhile.....err....ah...migh­t be moving to L.A. soon...that's something!
