dirt 2 is dx11

I've seen a comparison between DX10 and DX11 on Stalker call of pripyat and... I'm not impressed. It will take a while before game companies can use DX11 well.

Well for Starcraft 2, they aren't going to use the features of DX11.
You can just run the game on DX11 but it won't be different from DX10. Just a marketing thing.
