damn hardcore its been ages since playing a viewtiful joe game although i dont have a game cube anymore i have viewtiful joe 1&2 i even have redhot rumble even though its the worst one

You probably won't see a new Viewtiful Joe game cause the IP is owned by Capcom, til who knows when. But Clover Studios developed it and they are now Platinum Games Inc. They recently just made Bayonetta, if you've played Bayonetta you'll notice numerous references to Viewtiful Joe in the game. At the beginning of Bayonetta you'll see a gravestone that has Joe's name on it along with "Red Hot" under it.

@titanticbodyparts 4KIDS didn't dub that. In fact, it was before they got a block. The dubbed show was done by the now bankrupt ADV.

It a shame really. Viewtiful Joe was a great game, a perfect blend of 3D character model and level design and 2D side-scrolling gameplay.

The story, while strange, was original and interesting. VJ2 was also a good sequel to VJ1 and improved upon the the original gameplay.

I really expected the series to go on for awhile, I was really interested in how it would conclude and possible continue in/from VJ3. The anime was a disappointment though 4KidTV was probably the cause of that.

if this is the one from the PS2 I liked the one on the gamecube better, the black and white gave it a more artsy old movie type feel to it

@rodrigoleal321 ive played that game, but im talking about a direct sequel, not a game that just branches off, ya know? i enjoyed red hot rumble, but i still wish they'd make more games.
