"It's written on my arm"

This is for you,
The ones that think it's the end of it all.
Nothing comes between the heart and the soul.
No matter how hard we try to put the pieces together,
Seems like forever is so far away.
In reality it's right here in front of you.
Give us hope to overcome our demons
And walk the right path.

The eyes of these people show so much pain,
Remorse, upset, addiction, affliction.
So much goes into us and we give nothing back.
Well it's time to join the movement,
Love is the movement.
We can stop the bleeding and make things better for us all.

The youth of today have so much to worry about,
As do the elders.
Deciding which way to go, what to do,
Who to become.
I'm doing my part, will you help?

Let's all give up one thing today,
Give up the anger and the frustrations of everyday situations,
Put it all to rest and give peace a chance.
Lend a helping hand,
Speak to someone about this life,
The life of love we all want to have.
To hold hands and cherish each moment we're given.

Tomorrow is another day,
Watch the sun as it moves across the sky,
Notice as it sets in the most beautiful of light.
Then as the sky becomes dark,
Notice the stars.
Do not forget these stars because they are dreams,
Dreams of lost children and the demons they've let go.
Remember the stars......remember the stars.
